You have heard about parks and gardens, Charminar, and majestic malls of Hyderabad. However, if you keep visiting Hyderabad more frequently and have already visited all these tourist destinations, here are a few places you can discover to give your trip a new meaning!

Lagislative

Legislative Assembly in Hyderabad

Legislative Assembly is not quite a tourist destination you will like to suggest to your friend! However, this is quite a place to see! Situated amidst a public garden at the heart of Hyderabad city, this is the core from where all laws and regulations for the state of Telangana emerge! Everyone keeps reading about what happens every day in the Legislative Assembly but very few have given a thought to have a firsthand experience of actually standing right in front of it!

The Legislative Assembly building is a majestic one - white in colour with a fusion of Rajasthan and Persian architecture. The building was built by fund raised by people of Hyderabad marking the 40th birthday of VI Nizam of Hyderabad (Nizam Mis Mahboob Ali Khan) in the year 1905. It took around 8 years to build this building. In 1913, it became the Town Hall.

In 1980, the New Assembly Building was built for accommodation of offices of different political parties and other legislative offices. There is greenery all over  the place and a 22-feet tall statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi has been positioned at the entrance with 'My life is my  message' inscribed on the pedestal.
