Parks in Hyderabad

City of Hyderabad has turned to be the famous tourist destination in the country and amusement parks play a great role in making it possible. This city has many amusement or theme parks which offer various rides to both kids as well as grown up. 

These beautiful parks are located within just 10kms to 15kms from the heart of the city. These parks are the best place to provide for a days outing with family or friends. Some of the famous amusements parks are:


Elles World

Timing: Elles world remains open from 11am to 7 pm every day.
Entry fee:  Adult is 65/- and for children its 50/-

Mount Opera

It is a renowned multi theme park in Hyderabad which is spread over an area of 55 acres. It is just 38 kms away from the city. This park attract tourist from national as well as it is international attraction. 

Ramoji Amusement Park

Timings: 9 am to 6 am (the time may vary depending upon any significant issue)
Fee: up to INR. 200 per adult. 

It is the world famous Ramoji film city in the heart city of the Indian peninsula. It is spread around 2,000 acres of land. The enjoyment rides offered by this unique park are borasura, striking cars, dadajinn, and 360 degree virtual tour which will take people on a bus ride of the whole Ramoji film city. 

This beautiful amusement park even houses restaurants and bars. This park is open throughout the year for the visitors but the month in between June and February are the best time to visit the place.

Snow World

This park is located at Lower Tank Bund of Himayatnagar at the centre area of Hyderabad. It is spread around 17,000 sq ft of area, one will have wonderful experience in this snow park. 

The ticket fee differs from person to person is as follow:
Child: 200 INR
Adult: 250 INR
Group of minimum 25 people gets 10% discount entry fee.

Treasure Island

This park is spread over area of 60 acres, and is located at Gandipet, Hyderabad. Children can enjoy watching ducks, rabbits, deer’s and lot of diversity of birds. This park allows one to rediscover the beauty of spending time gracefully. 

Jalavihar Water Park

Location: Near the tank bund of the railway station of Kairthabad, Hyderabad, 22-9, Necklace Road, Hyderabad -500063

Timings on weekends (Saturday and Sunday): 11 am to 8 pm

The amusement Park is easily reachable from all the routes of Hyderabad, as well as Secunderabad. This place is most desired water park for kids. One can enjoy with friends and family members in the swimming pools. 

Jalavihar Park, Hyderabad

This park has more than 10 rides and attractions; there are many fascinating rides for adults as well as kids. Rides like pendulum, float slide, river ride, wave pool, kids pool, family slide, aqua trailers, mushroom umbrella, mini, tilt bucket and multi lane are famous.

NTR Garden

This park is one of the most fresh and enchanting attractions of Hyderabad is the NTR garden which is located at Hussainsager lake. It is a memorial to the late N T Rama Rao, who was considered to be the most charismatic Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. 

Public Garden

Timing: 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and 2.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.
Open: Every day (Except Friday)

This garden is considered to be one of the oldest and largest gardens which are situated at the center of the city. Hyderabad city boasts some of the supreme gardens in the country. It was constructed in the year 1846 by Nizam Government. 

KBR National Park

Location: Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad
Season: All the year round
Open: 6.00 A.M. to 8.00 A.M. 4.00 P.M. to 6.00 P.M.

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park in Hyderabad covers an area of 156.30 hectares. The park recognized in 1994 to guard the biodiversity and luxury of the area, is named after the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh late Kasu Brahmananda Reddy.

Indira Park

Indira Park is having 76 acres of area and it lies on the lower Tank Bund road beside the Hussain Sagar. It is named after Mrs. Indira Gandhi one of the previous Prime Minister of India. This park is one of the oldest parks in the twin cities. 

It also has added attraction which came later in 1994 like Computerised Musical dancing fountain and water falls, commercial nursery and rose garden. 

Sanjeevaiah Park

Location: Necklace Road, Hyderabad
Houses: Rose Garden, Rock Garden And A Floral Clock

Once well-liked as a lovers' park (a place frequented mostly by couples), it has progressively grown into a major tourist location and outing center. It is situated next to Hussain Sagar, at the end of Necklace Road; broaden on an area of 99 acres.
