This garden is considered to be one of the oldest and largest gardens which are situated at the center of the city. Hyderabad city boasts some of the supreme gardens in the country. It was constructed in the year 1846 by Nizam Government. On can say without any doubt that it is one of the most frequented spots for school picnics. This marvelously laid out garden also houses two museums the A P State Archaelogical Museum and the Health Museum, a park where kids can have fun, a mini school (Jawahar Bal Bhavan) for children to be trained fine arts, and an hall (the Indira Gandhi Auditorium). The Lalitha Kala Thoranam (an open-air theater which is a venue for many film festivals, fashion shows and beauty pageants), the Jubilee Hall, the building of the Department of Horticulture and a mosque are the other striking places in the building.
Beside this garden the stunning white structure is the Andhra Pradesh Assembly building with green lawns. Recently the government has added a huge statue of Mahatma Gandhi sitting in the praying position looks serene for all. The statue adds to the beauty of the park.

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park in Hyderabad covers an area of 156.30 hectares. The park recognized in 1994 to guard the biodiversity and luxury of the area, is named after the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh late Kasu Brahmananda Reddy. This picturesque park is exclusive in its own way. It houses the splendid Chiran palace of the former Nizam of Hyderabad and also the other noteworthy structures. It is intended to preserve the greenbelt and the accessible variety of flora and fauna. It is expected to put off pollution, refill fresh oxygen and refresh ground water. It is also envisioned to be the centre stage for scattering environmental consciousness among the citizens. There is regular nature camps are performed for school children and a full-grown environment learning centre is coming up.
The flora is typically representative of southern tropical deciduous forests and the last vestigeal representative of the indigenous flora of Hyderabad region. The park has almost 600 species of trees, herbs, shrubs, grasses, climbers, besides numerous bryophytes, pteridophytes, and xerophytes.
It is a house consisting of almost 113 species of birds, 20 species of mammals, 20 species of reptiles, 15 species of butterflies and numerous invertebrates. It serves as an urban shelter for Jungle Cats, Hares, Mongooses Monitor Lizards, Pythons, Palm Civets, Wild Boars, Cobras and other variety of snakes. There are no large mammals are present in the national park.
Indira ParkIndira Park is having 76 acres of area and it lies on the lower Tank Bund road beside the Hussain Sagar. It is named after Mrs. Indira Gandhi one of the previous Prime Minister of India. This park is one of the oldest parks in the twin cities. It is appealing entertainment park for ordinary people, school children, families and also tourists as the landscaping of Indira Park was very solely designed without disturbing the natural elements existing in Park such as Sandal wood trees, wild date palms, Keuvda plantation and and fruit plants like mango, kalajamun etc. one can also find numerous small stalls and stores stock cool drinks and snacks . Indira Park covers acre of lush vegetation, it makes excellent picnic and play spot for family and friends.
