Mahila Vikasa Kendrams (Women Training Centers) train women in myriad skills. Helping hand is provided by Andhra Pradesh State Government, NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) and Government of India.

Abhaya Hastham (Indira Kranthi Patham Pension and Insurance Scheme for SHG Women) is a co-contributory Pension Scheme for the women (above 18 years of age), belonging to the Self Help Groups in Andhra Pradesh.It helps in the following ways:
- Monthly pension on becoming 60+ years of age
- Death and disability insurance cover (also scholarship to their children)
- Lump sum transfer of account money to nominee in the event of her death.
